A Prayer To Overcome Comparison

I come to You confessing that I have fallen into the trap of comparison. I look at the lives, successes, and blessings of others, and I let envy and discouragement creep into my heart. Forgive me for measuring my worth by someone else’s standards or milestones.
Lord, open my eyes to see myself the way You see me—fearfully, wonderfully, and uniquely made. Remind me that my identity is rooted in Your love, not in my possessions, status, or achievements.
Silence the lies of inadequacy and free me from the pressure to keep up with a race I was never assigned to run. Help me to truly celebrate the victories of others instead of resenting them, and give me deep contentment in the season and gifts You have placed in my life right now.
Keep my eyes fixed on You, walking my own path with confidence and peace.In Jesus’ name, Amen.
